Miss McFadden Educational Therapy is a dedicated Multisensory Structured Language Therapy clinic based in Bathurst, NSW.
We specialise in literacy and language support to children and young people with learning differences and disability, with a specialisation in supporting dyslexia, dysgraphia, processing disorders, ADHD, ADD and Autism.
We work closely with families to deliver evidence-based, structured literacy and language interventions that help every learner reach their potential.
We truly believe that every child dserves to learn, succeed and flourish in literacy, language and wellbeing.



THE ROLE
We are growing our team and looking for a passionate and skilled MSL Therapist to join us!
You will deliver individualised therapy sessions, conduct assessments, liaise with families and contribute to a warm and collaborative practice culture.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Speech Pathology or Occupational Therapy OR Master os Special Education / Master of Education with a relevant specialisation.
Accreditation in Multisensory Structured Language Therapy through IMSLE (support provided for those willing to train).
Current Registration with Speech Pathology Australia or Occupational Therapy Board of Australia (AHPRA) & Associate Member of AMADA.
A current Working with Children Check.
Commitment to ethical, evidence-based and client-centered practice.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with children and families.
Results driven and an authentic desire to achieve our client's goals.

Your qualifications and training in Multisensory Structured Language Therapy or Structured Literacy.
Your understanding of the science of reading and the core areas of language.
Your experience supporting children with dyslexia, dysgraphia, processing disorders or neurodiverse profiles such as ADHD and Autism.
Your ability to assess a child, interpret the results and write reports that parents and teachers can use.
How you plan and deliver structured, multisensory lessons that are unique to every child.
Your approach to wellbeing and rapport building and how you help children feel safe and engaged.
